More Pasta, More Joy—Join the Fun!

pasta, pomodori and basil, oh my!

Fueled by curiosity and a sense of adventure, I set out to explore the world, ultimately finding myself in the enchanting landscape of Italy. Initially, I was merely a “tourist,” drawn by the country’s cultural richness and natural beauty. Little did I know that Italy would soon become my permanent residence, leading me to embrace the role of an “expat.”

HI, I'm rebby

For me, moving to Italy wasn’t just a lifestyle change; it was a transformative journey that continues to shape my understanding of what it means to truly appreciate a country and its people. It’s about transcending boundaries and embracing a way of life that is both enchanting and soul-nourishing. For me, Italy isn’t just a destination; it’s a love affair, and the food is an essential chapter of that love story.

Over the span of 13 transformative years, Italy became more than a picturesque backdrop for my life’s story. It evolved into the place where I found love, created a family, and cultivated a profound understanding of its culture, its language, and its way of life.

Italy isn’t just about sightseeing and ‘ciao bella’ – it’s about the food, the culture, and the zest for life that’s so infectious here.

my culinary journey

My journey into the heart of Italy led me to discover one of the most profound and soul-satisfying aspects of this culture – its food.

The cuisine of Italy transcends the realm of the ordinary; it’s a love affair with flavors, traditions, and the essence of life itself.

In Italy, every meal is a celebration, every recipe a cherished heirloom, and every gathering an opportunity to forge enduring connections. Being a very family-oriented person myself, I felt right at home!

Sharing the soul of Italy – one delicious dish, one heartfelt story, and one insightful post at a time.
