Method
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, and let it cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over cold water and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Mix the gelatin into the warm cream mixture until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into serving glasses or ramekins.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with fresh berries or fruit compote before serving.
